Selection and use of suppliers

First of all, the supplier will be the subject of an evaluation concerning the following areas of competence: purchasing, logistics, quality, research and development. If deemed necessary, the supplier will be audited to assess the quality of his organisation and the relevance of his procedures.

 

Quality requirements relate to project, initial samples and production deliveries. The supplier is chosen on the basis of best fit - quality/cost/delivery time/R&D.

 

Developing and monitoring a supplier

Wilo Intec expects the highest level of performance. The supplier accepts that he will operate and maintain a quality management system that has as its objective zero defects and which allows it to continuously improve its performance. Certain suppliers will be assigned an approval rating, reflecting their performance in respect of quality, cost, delivery time and R&D criteria.

 

Continuous improvement: supplier development

We need strong innovative suppliers with whom we can interact in an open, fair and long term working relationship. We actively support our suppliers in continuously improving their expertise.
