In the energy report of a thermal solar installation, the electric consumption of the circulator placed in the collection circuit must be taken into account. A conventional pump can contribute until 15% to the consumption in primary energy of  complete installation. With the new high-efficiency pumps, this contribution can decrease until 2 to 3%.
