For the 4th edition of the Sustainable Development Day in June, Wilo Intec welcomed its local partners to their premises. Among the guests invited were the Honourable Mayor of Aubigny, Mr. Fromion, representatives of the sub-prefecture, local companies, as well as sports associations sponsored by Wilo Intec.

 

During the factory visit, Michael Ranft, General Manager, announced the good results of Wilo Intec in face of the ever-present economic crisis. Employment has remained stable during the last 18 months. And moreover, the Wilo Group recently announced its ambitions of growth and profitability until 2015. To reach these objectives, the Wilo Group reorganized its resources and elected Wilo Intec as the Competence Centre for OEM customers. Thus, confirming Wilo Intec’s leadership in the OEM field re-boots recruitment on strategic sectors. With this strategy, Wilo Intec approaches the year 2011 with confidence, integrating the necessary growth-generating skills.

 

Michael Ranft also highlighted actions and initiatives regarding sustainable development piloted by Wilo Intec staff during these last 12 months:

 

- Extension of the high-efficiency product range: the version for solar applications received the « innovation award » in Germany in May 2010!

- Opening of a fitness centre: 40 regular users with 10 semi-professional machines

- Creation of an outdoor relaxing zone: planned and implemented by a team of volunteers for the well-being of all the employees

- Use of recycled packaging: substantial decrease in cardboard consumption
