Kaizen © was created in Japan following the world war II. It has been brought to a mature state by Toyota Production System, which is still the reference.

The word Kaizen © means "continuous improvement". It is a system that involves every employee from upper management to the last hired worker.

 

Everyone is encouraged to come up with small improvements on a regular basis. Kaizen focuses on identifying problems and root causes, solving them at their source and changing standards to ensure that the problem is definitely eradicated.

This philosophy is supported by training, equipments and supervision. Its application allows a better reactivity, a more efficient ergonomics, a reduction of cell´s surfaces, of movements, of defects, of stocks, improves the flow, ... Productivity is increased along with comfort.

 

The Kaizen © philosophy has been implemented at Wilo Intec in 1996. Since the, the use of secured manufacturing processes is continuously extended on our assembly cells and production procedures. It is applied in all departments of our company.
